Average chip stack....

The average chip stack..... One of the statistics that I kept looking at during deepstacks poker tourney main event was the average chip stack.  Now as the final day moved to around 25 players I started looking closer to the chip leader stacks and the short stacks.  I think it's natural to compare chip stack sizes😁
I think it is also not good to obsess over it to early or obsess to the point of distraction where you think you need to ale a move to catch up to a larger stack.
While talking to Randal all in Flowers (poker pro) at the tourney he was constantly saying scared money won't make money, especially in a deepstacks tourney. I made sure to exercise that against him in an all in hand with my 10/8 suited as chip leader, thus knocking him out early on day one.
All in all this was my biggest win on my journey to poker pro placing second.
But at midnight I convinced short stack to chop with me for second letting the chip leader and local Lincoln resident reside as tourney champion.
I had my reasons to not play it out to the end after 28 hours of play and a couple lucky hands at the final table to get there.
I think my luck was pressed and was starting to run out as the chip leader was on a hot streak hitting 80 percent of the flops on barely playable hands three handed...
That and a 5k money swing if I went out in third instead of second... Negotiation sometimes serve us better than letting greed and pride loose it for us. Besides, at this stage it is about accumulating the money so I can enter more games and managing the bankroll to do it correctly.
My time will come...
